Hey, my name’s Matty, I’m 18 and I live in North Wales with my family, but I plan to go to university in 2013 to study history and archaeology at wherever wants me really.

I’m a dreamer, I like to imagine a different, better world to the one we currently pretend that we own. I love inspiring people to do things, but often fail to inspire myself. I’m shy and about 5 years old at heart but as Steven Hawking said, “quiet people have the loudest minds”. I have a tendency to hide things, cover them up and put them in a bottle. Which is great until that bottle overflows, which happens more than it should, because I take on other people’s problems and let them run my life.

I play football/soccer to pass the time, and I’m a huge supporter of Bolton Wanderers in the English Championship. My best position when I play is in the midfield, where my biggest inspirations in life both happen to be best known for; Stuart Holden and Fabrice Muamba. Two phenomenal guys who have consistently beaten the odds throughout their lives.

I like music too, especially Noah and the Whale, You me at Six, Deaf Havana, Enter Shikari, MCR, Bon Iver, Birdy, The Dangerous Summer, Panic! At the Disco, A Day to Remember, Ed Sheeran, Mayday Parade, Jack Johnson, Two Door Cinema Club, James Vincent McMorrow and a load of other stuff.
